U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was in North Korea to finalise details of President Trump’s meeting with President Kim recently, and discuss the release of three American detainees.
Mr Pompeo and Mr Kim certainly seemed to get on well! So well in fact that Mr Pompeo returned with the gentlemen, Mr Kim Dong Chul, Mr Kim Sang-duk, and Mr Kim Hak Song last night, and were greeted at an airbase outside Washington DC by President Trump, and First Lady Melania Trump.
All of the gentlemen were in good spirits!

It’s Certainly Been A Great Week For Handshakes This Week! Firstly, President Trump And First Lady Melania Trump Received President Macron And His Wife Brigitte To The White House, Where Handshakes (And Cuddles) Abounded.
Melania & Brigitte Both Looked Stunning As Usual, With Melania Sporting A Wide-Brimmed White Hat, Which Accentuated Her Cheekbones,
And A Supremely Cut Suit By Michael Kors During The Day, And A Sparkling Chanel Haute Couture Gown For The Evening, Made Of Black Chantilly Lace, Hand-Painted With Silver & Embroidered With Crystal And Sequins.
Brigitte, Looked Fabulous In A White Louis Vuitton Suit For The Day, And Louis Vuitton Full Length Gown For The Evening. Brigitte Also Always Looks Impeccable, And Certainly Knows What Suits Her. It Was Really Exciting To See What Both Ladies Were Going To Wear Actually, As They Both Have Great Taste (And Model Figures.)
Brigitte Has Said Since In An Interview That Melania Is “Kind, Charming, & Intelligent” And That They Had Bonded Further This Week After Their First Meeting In Paris Last July. Brigitte Also Said That They Have The Same Sense Of Humour And Have Lots Of Fun Together.
President Macron And President Trump Seemed To Get On Famously, And There Was Much Handshaking, And Hand-Holding. (Lovely to see!)
Then Today, In An Extremely Historic Event, the North Korean Leader, Kim Jong Un Crossed On Foot, Into South Korea, To Greet President Moon-Jae-In. This was the first time a North Korean leader has crossed into the South for 65 years!
The Gentlemen Seemed Very At Ease With Each Other, Shaking Hands When Mr Kim Jong-Un Had Crossed Into The South,
And Then Holding Hands, When They Both Crossed Back Into the North In A Reciprocal Gesture.
The Two Leader’s Then Introduced Their Wives To Each Other And Their Delegations And Then Went On To Attend A Summit, Which Was Held At A Venue Called “Peace House” To Discuss ‘All Things Peaceful’,
Including Plans To Formally Establish A Peace Treaty, An Agreement To Urgently Resolve Humanitarian Issues Of Divided Families,
Halting All Propaganda Activities, Including Loudspeakers And Leaflets, And Many Other Things.
And With The Latest News That President Trump Will Be Visiting Britain On July 13th This Year For A Working Visit, And Will Be Visiting The Queen,
I Think I Might Start A New Section Purely For “Handshakes”. Especially If President Trump Goes On To Meet President Kim In Due Course, Which Will Certainly Be Another Truly Historic Handshake!!
