MIKOH – SPRING/SUMMER 2015

Founded by sisters Kalani and Oleema Miller, MIKOH is synonymous for sleek, directional and bold design.
——–
The runway show opened by Tahitian dancers wearing custom pieces from the MIKOH X SURF collection, that were customized for the show. Exuding life and energy, the dancers dressed in MIKOH’s modern interpretation of a traditional Tahitian ouftit.
——–
Models epitomized the diverse nature of the “MIKOH GIRL” – one who is strong, confident, and sext. Kalani and Oleema felt this was important during the model casting, to ensure the vibe and energy of each model fit the spirit of the brand.

Key pieces from this collection includes the brand’s favorite silhouettes, as well as new elevated shapes introduced for the first time and an expansion of their wildly popular MIKOH X SURF neoprene collection. New prints (such as crashing white water, Polynesian palm trees, aerial reefs, and a Samoa print reminiscent of the South Pacific culture) and colors (rich greens and reds, as well as vibrant coral and turquoise, and beautiful neutrals) came alive on the runway.

Each season, MIKOH goes back to their roots of flawless fit, effortless colors, and fabrics inspired by the Miller sisters’ worldly travels. The 2015 collection took this to the next level.
