BETTINA BAKDAL – A/W 2014 Collection
Bettina Bakdal is certainly not an unknown name in the Danish fashion industry. Nine years ago she founded Konrög. A design-association of 8 designers promoting Danish design on an international level, in the form of a shop and showroom. In addition, Bettina Bakdal has been a senior designer at Inwear, and for nearly 9 years, has been responsible for developing tomorrow’s new design talents as manager and teacher at Fashion Line at Kolding School of Design.
Now Bettina Bakdal is back with a collection in her own name. An AW2014 collection that is deeply rooted in her personal style, a mix between a classic look , graphic codes and elegant play with sculptural silhouettes. The finish is high quality. The focus is on longevity, and the design is classical, but with the avant-garde twist, that characterizes a Bettina Bakdal collection.
The AW2014 The Row, is inspired by the German photographer August Sander, and the female artist Hannah Höch. Every outfit is a relation to next outfit, shape and collar vice. There for THE ROW.
