BACK S/S 14 is raw, sporty and sophisticated.

The collection draws inspiration from the Ann-Sofie Back mainline FW05 and its huge inside out logo patches combined with the naive draped look of the FW07 collection. Added influences has been Calvin Klein’s 90’s sport underwear campaigns, as well as the styling by Anna Cockburn in the mid-nineties with its raw, homemade and spontaneous look.

Tops without sleeve hole seams, rounded shoulders, raw edges, bonded denim, velcro fastenings and scuba sweats that are both elegant and utilitarian. High visibility colours in silver reflective and neon orange mixed with powdery blues, optic whites, camel and black.

To clash with the sporty elements there is a group of asymmetric knotted pieces in tulle, which is romantic and flimsy. Ball gown skirts in technical taffeta or raw denim paired with jerseys with large or all over logo patches, wide logo elastics on leather trousers and sporty tops in lightest pique jersey finishes off the look. The phrase “senile sports” describes the total look best, with chiffon headscarves, skin tone support socks and plastic flip flops from Nike.
