In view of the fact that our Olympic and Paralympic Heroes performed so spectacularly in Rio 2016, it’s wonderful to see them dominate the Queen’s New Year’s Honours List!
The list of honours includes a knighthood for Andy Murray,
and a knighthood for Mo Farah for services to athletics;
a damehood to Katherine Grainger for services to rowing and charity,
and a damehood for Jessica Ennis-Hill for services to athletics.
