THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE LEFT THE KING EDWARD VII HOSPITAL THIS MORNING, AND HAS GONE BACK TO KENSINGTON PALACE FOR A PERIOD OF REST WITH THE DUKE BY HER SIDE.
“THEIR ROYAL HIGHNESSES THE DUKE & DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE ARE VERY PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE IS EXPECTING A BABY” ST JAMES’ PALACE ANNOUNCED RECENTLY..!
The Duchess is presently in the King Edward VII Hospital because she has acute morning sickness ( or hyperemesis gravidarum). She will need to be looked after for a little while, as she may need to be given fluids intravenously, extra nutrients and anti-sickness tablets. The name of the condition ‘hyperemesis’ means vomiting a lot and ‘gravidarum’ means whilst pregnant, so although it is said that the condition will not harm the Duchess or the baby, she will need to be kept hydrated and as comfortable as possible whilst she is feeling a little under the weather.
It is said today that “The Duchess is Continuing to Feel Better”…!
Both the Duke & Duchess have worked extremely hard this year.
Now let’s hope they can take it easy for a little while…
The Duchess dazzled in Roksanda Ilincic at the UK Creative Industries Reception held this year on July 30th at the RCA, which was hosted by David Cameron.
