MIA MARCELLE SWIMWEAR’S 2015 COLLECTION SIZZLES AT MERCEDES BENZ
FASHION WEEK IN MIAMI
Miami, FL. Napa Valley, California’s Mia Marcelle Swimwear, opened their second swimwear collection at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week: Swim. The Cabana Grande tent set the stage for the group show, with Mia Marcelle setting the pace with a string quartet performing Michael Jackson throwback Beat It. The evening was high in anticipation as the young brand also debuted the first looks from their men’s swimwear collection M. Marcelle.

VIP guests were gifted with swag bags, including wine and cigars from the designer’s own vineyard: Copper Cane.

The collection, inspired by a dream Tahitian vacation, included effortless silhouettes. Bright colors in subtle prints created a bold elegance, while solids were soft yet striking. The audience was captivated by the chic plunging one-piece punctuated with a wide brimmed, old Hollywood hat.

For the finale, designer Amber Wagner chose a black two-piece suit
with flirty, strappy detailing. The female models, including Rachel Barnes, shimmied down the runway in the 2015 collection wearing simple ankle-strap stilettos and minimal statement jewelry; while the male models, met with a barrage of whistles, went shirtless and barefoot.
