From anatomy to vision, Francesco Scognamiglio investigates the structure to discover the shape. He recalls ancient metaphors of femininity and reinterprets them according to a new imaginary. His FW Collection 17/18 evokes the new nascence of a Woman.

Sensual long dresses march along with tailored-made coats and kidassia fur-coats. Organza, chiffon and silk-charmeuse build up close-fitting silhouettes, shining through paillettes and crystals.

Francesco Scognamiglio overcomes the symbolism of grace and elegance: he goes beyond the semblance and conventional look and constructs a new beauty, strong, free and rebel. Floating and soft dresses find their way through three dimensional architectures. Long pants featuring wings create the movement. Colours span from light peach to blue night, cardinal red and digital prints.
